Let us know how you’re doing

As the term draws to a close, we would usually share tips for creating effective final exams and projects and for wrapping up the learning experiences you’ve created for your students. But this year, we need to hear from you.

This summer was the first time many of us taught a semester remotely, start to finish. Shifting to a new modality may have involved learning to use new technologies, changing our assessments, or even redesigning our courses. It probably changed the ways you communicate with your students, and the ways you facilitate their communication with each other.

Just as our (positive and negative) experiences moving to remote teaching at the end of spring informed our teaching in the summer, our experiences teaching remotely in the summer will inform our planning for fall. Here at CAT, we’d like to hear from you about how things have been going in your courses, and how we can support you in the coming weeks.

We’d be grateful if you would take a few minutes to share your thoughts with us in this brief survey. (You can respond anonymously or not.)

Thank you very much for participating. We wish you a gratifying close to the summer term, and a restorative break.

For support as you wrap up summer teaching and prepare for fall, please email us at pro-teaching@fsu.edu. We look forward to working with you!
